Storm Lighter „AMOR VINCIT OMNIA“

This sketchy vision of storm lighter came into my mind recently. Then i had to execute it! I sat down, made some drawings onto the brass lighter and started to engrave. It’s kinda sketchbook style. With symbols that have meaning to me and maybe also to your life. We can have deep thoughts on those little symbols and numbers, that’s what they’re meant for. The words „amor vincit omnia“ are also one of my favorites. You’ll find them on my other jewelry pieces as well from time to time. The little solid sterling silver skull stands for itself.
This classic american storm lighter is the „Armor Case“ version, which means it has thicker walls than the standard lighters. This lighter runs with lighter fluid, not gas! It has to be used regularly, then it works best. The brass is a wonderful material. Depending on your use, the brass will get beautiful patina over time. This lighter has a slightly brushed finish, which makes a light vintage look.
