Silver Pendant „STAR“

Stars are iconic and timeless symbols. They are well known spiritual elements in many cultures. A star can represent wisdom and guidance from a higher source. A star is a symbol of presence and awareness. This beautiful star is made with .999 and .925 sterling silver and has many fine details to explore. The main star in the center was made using the old technique of „chasing & repoussée“ - a very old and time consuming art of metalwork, yet very meditative and satisfying. This large star is a LIGHT WEIGHT pendant due to its hollow (repoussée) form. This might be interesting for people with a sensitive neck. You can get this pendant ALONE (just the silver star) or with a sterling silver chain (rhodinated, choose your length) or with a leather cord with two handmade sterling silver beads and some old red glass beads from Gablonz/Czech Republic (from the 1920s/30s). The leather cord is approximately 103cm long. This cord must be securely KNOTTED at the end by you in your desired length. IDEALLY you choose a length where the leather cord can be easily slidden over your head, so that the knot don’t have to be opened every time.
