Storm Lighter „PER ASPERA AD ASTRA“

This is an original brass Zippo lighter, Armor Case version, which has thicker walls than the standard brass lighers. The 925 sterling silver embellishments make this Zippo unique and one of a kind. „Seafaring“ is the theme here and the engraved latin quote „per aspera ad astra“ is meant to emphasize the mindset of explorers of the sea. Only a brave heart can achieve miracles. Beside the beautiful silver anchor we have a sailing ship and a (female) sailor with a hat (on the top of the lighter).
Please note that these classic storm lighters work with ‚lighter fluid‘, not gas (although there are butan gas inserts available). These lighters work best if used regularly (almost daily). Lighter fluid has to be refilled regularly also. The brass case will get tarnish and patina over time which is absolutely natural. The ligher will be shipped in its original box. It is new and has never been filled.
