Silver Chain „OLD STYLE“

This is a 100% handforged sterling silver chain. Heavy gauge, which means that this beauty is made with a 1,5mm thick silver wire and is very heavy due to its length of total 75cm. The chain has a weight of approximately 67 grams. Every silver ring (except one) is soldered, so this is the best you can have. The only ring that is just bent together (not soldered) is the one that is connected with the „cross“ (counterpart of the hook). Why? Simply to give you the opportunity to open this ring with two strong „flat pliers“ to put a pendant upon the chain if you want to. If you have a pendant with a huge bail on it, you can put it directly over the chain of course. A huge stone pendant or heavy silver cross would look good on this chain for sure.
I would suggest to wear the silver hook on the side (like on the photo with the model).

- All soldered together except one ring at the clasp, to give you the option to take off the „cross“ for putting a pendant on etc.

Please notice: if you want to put a pendant on this chain, this pendant needs a huge bail to go over this thick chain! The other option is to put the open ring off with two flat pliers (see above).
